Presented by: John Paul Marosy, Education and Outreach Coordinator, Denver Metro Fair Housing Center:

 

 

John Paul brings decades of experience in community organizing for peace, racial and economic justice. He has a distinguished career as a leader in developing and managing innovative home and community-based services for elders and persons with disabilities. He has a master’s degree in Urban Affairs from Boston University and a bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies from Saint Peter’s University. He is a leader on the  Transforming Justice Team of Together Colorado.

 

 

The Denver Metro Fair Housing Center (DMFHC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating housing discrimination and promoting housing choice for all people through education, advocacy, and enforcement of Fair Housing laws. As the HUD-designated Fair Housing Initiative Program (FHIP) for Colorado, DMFHC is the only organization authorized by HUD to conduct Fair Housing testing as part of its enforcement responsibilities in its core service area that includes the seven counties of Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, and Jefferson. State-wide, DMFHC provides Fair Housing education and advocates for public policies to further strengthen Fair Housing rights in partnership with a variety of organizations and individuals.
