Description
We all have needs when interacting interpersonally. In light of events in the world, our psychological safety has become the most prominent need that we must address. We’ll spend time learning about psychological safety, what it is, and how we leverage it cross-culturally in our work.
Rossina Schroeer-Santiago has earned a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and registered with the State of Colorado as a Licensed Professional Counselor (#LPC.0015630) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (#ACD.0001784). She has received a National Certified Counselor endorsement (NCC #831693), and she is a Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) that places an emphasis on employment development, reintegration, or adjustment issues that allow her to provide career facilitation to individuals experiencing career/life transitions. Rossina operates her private Mental Health Practice in Denver, CO and she is the founder of the “Therapist of Color Collaborative”, which was founded to serve communities of color with mental health services that are culturally responsive, culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and delivered with compassion to advance racial equity. As the pioneering entity designed as a community-centered social enterprise the Collaborative currently has a membership of near 40 Therapists of Color. In Rossina’s work, she operates from a humanistic perspective that encourages individuals to explore their feelings, thoughts, and emotions in relation to their individual life experiences. Coupled with empathy and encouragement, individuals find they are better equipped to face adversities and uphold their victories. Rossina believes that the human capacity can be an unstoppable force in creating an empowered and sustainable future that allows individuals to live more authentically.
